My name is Arie Rain Glorie. I’ve produced one-night art parties for over 1,000 people; light installations on bridges; works with fire and pyrotechnics; audio-guided walks through the bush; projection artworks on cliffs; warehouse parties; performance art dinners; festivals made by children; and projects involving glow-in-the-dark flies, perfumers, and puppets. The weirder the idea, the better.
I work closely with artists and organisations to take projects from early idea through to delivery, navigating logistics, audiences, budgets, regulations, and institutional frameworks without compromising the integrity of the work.
I’ve lived and worked in Naarm Melbourne for a long time and know this city’s cultural ecology intimately, grounding my practice in long-term relationships and ambitious, audience-centred work.

Science Gallery Melbourne — Curator
I wrote the inaugural Public Programs Framework and established the popular Friday Night Social events, a hybrid art-party model for public engagement. I also contributed to exhibition curation, education opportunities and engagement strategy.
MPavilion Parkville — Curator
I curated the first three seasons of MPavilion Parkville, commissioning installations, performances and site-responsive works tailored to University Square.
Test Sites- Producer
I produced the City of Melbourne’s Test Sites program, supporting over 100 artists to develop public art projects. This included co-curating temporary installations with ACCA for Who’s Afraid of Public Space?
Museums & Collections, University of Melbourne- Creative Producer
I worked as a Creative Producer in the Museums & Collections Engagement Team at the University of Melbourne, growing audiences for Buxton Contemporary and the Grainger Museum.
Other Projects
I’ve curated events for ACMI, produced projects for Arts house, delivered artist development workshops and residency programs for venues like The Substation, worked with numerous independent artists as clients, and taught as a sessional educator in RMIT’s School of Art.
